Privacy
This page explains what Fitnessforeverylife collects when you write to us, why we keep it, and how to ask for a copy or a deletion. We are a small studio in Victoria, British Columbia. We read our own notes. We do not sell contact details and we do not run advertising trackers on this site.
What the form collects
The enquiry form on this site asks for your name, email address, and a message. The contact page also lets you add a phone number and choose an interest. We use those details only to reply to you about training, bookings, or a question you asked. The footer form on every page collects the same core fields: name, email, message, and your consent.
A hidden honeypot field named website is there to catch automated posts. If that field is filled, we do not store or read the rest of the note. A timestamp field helps us ignore instant submissions. Neither of those fields is used to profile you.
Why we keep it and for how long
We keep enquiry details so we can continue a conversation you started: an intake time, a membership question, a note about a knee. We retain that correspondence for 24 months from the last message, then delete it from our mailbox and any paper copy we printed for a session card. If you become a client, session cards and health notes you give us are kept while you train and for 24 months after your last visit, unless a longer period is required to handle a refund or a dispute.
Consent and your choices
The checkbox on the form is how you agree that we may use the details to reply. You can refuse by not sending the form. You can write to us later and ask us to delete what we have. We will confirm by email.
We do not sell data and we do not run ad trackers
We do not sell, rent, or trade names, emails, phone numbers, or messages. This site does not load advertising pixels, social-share trackers, or analytics packages. The only optional storage in your browser is the cookie named ffel_cookie, which remembers whether you accepted or declined that small notice. See Cookies for the exact list.
Hosting in Canada
The site is hosted on shared infrastructure in Canada. Email we receive at [email protected] is read by the studio. We do not send your note to a marketing list.
PIPEDA in plain language
Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) says organizations should collect only what they need, say why, keep it safely, and let people see or correct it. That is how we try to run a one-room studio. We collect the minimum needed to book and coach. We do not ask for extra identity documents through the website. We never publish business or tax registration numbers on this site, and we do not ask you for yours.
Requests
To see, correct, or delete what we hold, email [email protected] from the address you used on the form. Name the request clearly. We reply within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Children
This studio and this site are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from people under 19 through the form. If you believe a minor has written to us, tell us and we will delete the note.
